Meade Harris

Co-Founder

Meade Harris is Co-Founder of Dynamo Energy Hub. She has nearly two decades’ experience in the energy sector and has done business in 30 countries, giving her a global outlook on business and life.

Meade is also the CEO of The Hawthorn Club, the international network for women in the energy sector. As the club helps to improve gender diversity and place female executives into the C-suite, Meade is at the forefront of the energy transition. Meade has grown The Hawthorn Club to include branches on four continents, sponsored by some of the world’s biggest energy and technology companies – from upstream and downstream, utilities and power, to new and disruptive technologies.

Kristin Barbato

President & Co-Founder

Kristin Barbato has 25 years in energy and sustainability spanning utilities, government, and energy services, and now leverages this experience successfully as an entrepreneur. She founded Build Edison to accelerate commercialization of innovative energy solutions and as Co-founder and President of Dynamo Energy Hub, she is creating the new platform to connect energy transition leaders and innovators across the world. Kristin previously served as the Chief Energy Management Officer at the City of New York, the largest municipal energy operation in the US, VP of Customer Energy Solutions at NYPA, and other utility and corporate executive roles.

Kacy Cox

Chief of Staff and the Director of Strategic Partnerships

Kacy Cox is the Chief of Staff and the Director of Strategic Partnerships at Dynamo Energy Hub, serving as the right-hand to the Co-Founders, Meade and Kristin. In her role, Kacy assists with the growth and development of the Dynamo network, spearheads special projects and events, and helps to manage the day-to-day operations.

Previously, Kacy was the Executive Assistant to both the Chief Marketing Officer and Chief Financial Officer of Rockefeller Capital Management—an $11.2 billion AUM investment manager and financial advisory firm servicing both institutional and ultra-high net worth clientele. Kacy provided support on all branding, positioning and integrated marketing initiatives as well as high-level operational support to the Finance team.

Prior to joining Rockefeller in 2020, Kacy was the Design Studio Lead & Assistant to the VP of Design at rag & bone—an award-winning, American fashion label sold worldwide. In her role at Rag & Bone, from 2013 to 2020, Kacy provided operational oversight of the design process, promotional photo shoots and rag & bone’s highly publicized fashion shows. Kacy holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Communication Studies from The University of North Carolina – Wilmington.

Caroline Banfield

Director of Membership & Marketing Operations

Caroline Banfield is the Director of Membership & Marketing Operations for Dynamo Energy Hub. In her role she will support Dynamo membership at large and oversee all business development and promotional activities. She will also serve as the face of Dynamo at its hub in Austin, TX.

Prior to joining Dynamo, Caroline was the Head of Marketing for Stronghill Capital, a high-growth commercial real estate lender with $1B AUM. At Stronghill Capital she was responsible for the design and implementation of integrated marketing and communications strategy across the business’s B2B and B2C products.

Caroline began her career with Institutional Investor—a global financial media and events brand. She began with II as an intern and eventually oversaw the day-to-day operations for the brand’s flagship conference products—totaling $20M in revenue—as well as managed global audience development and lead generation campaigns for both conference and media products.

Caroline holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Political Science with a concentration in Economics from Franklin & Marshall College. She is a member of the Financial Communications Society and the Austin Marketing Association. Caroline is also an avid cook and has previously worked as Personal Chef. In her spare time she volunteers with local women’s advocacy groups and is learning American Sign Language.

Sheana Rodriguez

Executive Assistant

Sheana Rodriguez is the Executive Assistant to co-founders, Meade Harris and Kristin Barbato. In her role, she will manage day to day operations and support the administrative needs of the executive team to ensure the success of organizational objectives. Sheana has extensive experience supporting Executives, as well as special event planning and business management.

Before joining the Dynamo team, Sheana supported an award-winning Chief Marketing Officer and a 12-person global marketing leadership team at Bottomline Technologies, a SAAS based B2B Payments company in Portsmouth, NH. During her 8 years with the company, Sheana was described as the “glue” of the marketing organization. As the liaison to her CMO, Sheana’s responsibilities included, but were not limited to, day-to-day administrative support, project management, new hire onboarding, special event planning, and global marketing coordination.

Prior to her role as an Executive Assistant, Sheana spent over 7 years as a Wedding and Special Events Planner for a private country club in New Hampshire, specializing in weddings, golf tournaments, fundraisers, and corporate events. Sheana planned, managed, and executed each event as though they were her own.

Sheana graduated from the University of New Hampshire with a BA in Liberal Arts. She still resides near the University alongside her longtime partner and their three young children. When she’s not working, you can find Sheana on the golf course, at the beach, chauffeuring her kids to and from sports practices or spending time with friends and family.

Claudia Prandoni

Marketing and Communications Manager

Claudia Prandoni is the Marketing and Communications Manager at Dynamo Energy Hub where she develops integrated communication and marketing strategies to support overall brand and business development goals.

Previously, Claudia worked at Keller and Heckman LLP, where she provided support to firm partners, including creating email campaigns, organizing virtual and in-person events, and managing the website.

Prior to Keller and Heckman, Claudia worked at Energy Futures Initiative as a communications intern, where she distilled technical research on the climate crisis into compelling writing and media campaigns to make them more accessible to policymakers, business, labor, and the press. Claudia has also worked for Girl Up at the United Nations Foundation and I.M.P, an independent concert promotion and production company.

Claudia is a graduate of the George Washington University, where she received her Bachelor of Arts in Communication and Women’s, Gender, and Sexuality Studies, graduating Summa Cum Laude with Special Honors.

In her spare time, Claudia enjoys playing on her local D.C. soccer league team and attending music concerts throughout the city.

Chad Miller

Events Manager

Upon graduating from the University of Massachusetts Amherst in 2018 with a degree in Sport Management, Chad jumped into the sports industry as a sales executive for the Philadelphia 76ers and New Jersey Devils. He also has experience coordinating productions in the television industry, having worked as an Associate Producer for various major networks including Showtime, Bravo, and Paramount. With a passion for community and sustainability, he’s excited to provide a unique perspective as he works to create world-class events for energy industry leaders and innovators.

Desean Taber

Marketing & Social Media Associate

Desean Taber is a third-year undergraduate Anthropology Student at Columbia University in the City of New York, focusing on Indigenous Studies and Climate Change. He is passionate about clean energy, decarbonization, working with marginalized communities to combat climate disasters, and uplifting traditionally ignored voices in the climate change community to promote social change.

Before Dynamo, Desean worked in the arts as a full-time professional ballet dancer for 8+ years. He was a leading dancer with elite companies both nationally and internationally- touring internationally, performing over 600 times to an audience of 4000+ patrons, and helping the companies to gain millions in revenue. During his ballet career, he collaborated with the Social Media Teams for many projects, outreach programs, and events. Additionally, he was invited to be a member and advocate for the National Equity Project. This partnership is a program with Dance Theatre of Harlem, The International Association of Blacks in Dance, Dance/USA, and 21 professional ballet organizations working to increase diversity and the presence of BIPOC people in all areas of the ballet industry.

Desean joined Dynamo as an intern in December 2021 and will be working with the communications and marketing teams to help grow the platforms and promote cleantech energy globally. He looks forward to working with organizations and people dedicated to changing the world for the better.

Lily Santangelo

Intern

Lily is currently a sophomore at Georgetown University studying finance and Chinese. Lily is interested in sustainability and energy transition, and after college is looking to work in finance with a focus on clean energy. Previously, Lily interned at Echoing Green, a social entrepreneurship hub. Lily is an analyst for Georgetown’s impact investing club in their power and natural resources sector. At Dynamo, Lily supports business development and event organization.
