Meade Harris is Co-Founder of Dynamo Energy Hub. She has nearly two decades’ experience in the energy sector and has done business in 30 countries, giving her a global outlook on business and life.
Meade is also the CEO of The Hawthorn Club, the international network for women in the energy sector. As the club helps to improve gender diversity and place female executives into the C-suite, Meade is at the forefront of the energy transition. Meade has grown The Hawthorn Club to include branches on four continents, sponsored by some of the world’s biggest energy and technology companies – from upstream and downstream, utilities and power, to new and disruptive technologies.
President & Co-Founder
Kristin Barbato has 25 years in energy and sustainability spanning utilities, government, and energy services, and now leverages this experience successfully as an entrepreneur. She founded Build Edison to accelerate commercialization of innovative energy solutions and as Co-founder and President of Dynamo Energy Hub, she is creating the new platform to connect energy transition leaders and innovators across the world. Kristin previously served as the Chief Energy Management Officer at the City of New York, the largest municipal energy operation in the US, VP of Customer Energy Solutions at NYPA, and other utility and corporate executive roles.
Jessica Nicole - De La Rosa Krejcie
Chief Operating Officer
Jessica is Chief Operating Officer of Dynamo Energy Hub. She has nearly two decades experience in the energy industry and has been a manager of strategy and execution for large capital projects and regulatory and policy initiatives for Exelon Corporation, the US’s leading energy provider and #1 utility company on the FORTUNE 500.
She has managed and executed first-of-a-kind large capital project upgrades and retrofits of over $1B at multiple generating stations. She has experience successfully defending and securing novel regulatory and licensing initiatives to the United States Nuclear Regulatory Commission on behalf of the company’s nuclear portfolio and broader industry.
Jessica began her career as an engineer at the utility, giving her early exposure and perspective of the expansive energy ecosystem. At Exelon, she initiated and implemented an internship program, securing a pipeline of new talent into the nuclear industry after years of inactivity. She is a first-generation college graduate, growing up in a proud workers-union Hispanic-American family. She is committed to development and equity, appointed by the Brooklyn Borough President to serve New York City on her Community Board, and advising on workforce development and economic advancement.
Jessica completed a Master’s degree in Public Policy, specializing in economics and energy, at the University of Oxford in the UK. At the University of Oxford, she co-authored pieces on deep decarbonization of shipping and buildings with the Smith School of Enterprise and the Environment. She has a BA from Columbia University in the City of New York, graduating Magna Cum Laude and as the Alumni Key Recipient.
Chief of Staff and the Director of Strategic Partnerships
Kacy Cox is the Chief of Staff and the Director of Strategic Partnerships at Dynamo Energy Hub, serving as the right-hand to the Co-Founders, Meade and Kristin. In her role, Kacy will assist with the growth and development of the Dynamo network, spearhead special projects and events, and help to manage the day-to-day operations.
Previously, Kacy was the Executive Assistant to both the Chief Marketing Officer and Chief Financial Officer of Rockefeller Capital Management—an $11.2 billion AUM investment manager and financial advisory firm servicing both institutional and ultra-high net worth clientele. Kacy provided support on all branding, positioning and integrated marketing initiatives as well as high-level operational support to the Finance team.
Prior to joining Rockefeller in 2020, Kacy was the Design Studio Lead & Assistant to the VP of Design at rag & bone—an award-winning, American fashion label sold worldwide. In her role at Rag & Bone, from 2013 to 2020, Kacy provided operational oversight of the design process, promotional photo shoots and rag & bone’s highly publicized fashion shows. Kacy holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Communication Studies from The University of North Carolina – Wilmington.
Rachel is the Membership Manger for Dynamo Energy Hub. Rachel works with the Dynamo team to coordinate membership initiatives, develop opportunities for growth, and reflect Dynamo member’s interests in the experience the company provides. She also manages Dynamo’s data tracking system and process, putting together analytics to influence membership strategy.
Previously, Rachel worked in the development office at The Aspen Institute—an international nonprofit organization founded in 1949 with $400M net assets and known for its high-profile board and extensive programming to promote the creation of a free, just, and equitable society. Rachel closely supported their executive team, CEO, and board of trustees with reporting, tracking, and research for funding procurement and impact measurement. Rachel also volunteered her time with Aspen’s “Green Team”, an extra-curricular energy working group, and contributed to audits of the Institute’s renewable energy plans and inter-office sustainability.
Prior to joining Aspen in 2018, Rachel received a Bachelor’s of Science from The Ohio State University in Sustainability in Business, an interdisciplinary degree with a partnership between OSU’s Fischer School of Business and their school of energy and environment. In between classes, Rachel served as the President for their energy and environment school’s ambassador program and Executive Assistant to the Recruiting Director, as well as several leadership roles within her Environment and Natural Resources Scholars Program. She was a regular student lead and sponsor to attend the AASHE (Association of the Advancement of Sustainability in Higher Education) conference as an OSU representative, served as a volunteer peer counselor, and closely supported other various energy, environment, and sustainability organizations on campus.
Annie Kuenning is the Communications Manager at Dynamo Energy Hub where she leads internal and external member communication efforts as well as manages Dynamo’s website, social media, email, and event content. Annie is responsible for developing communication strategies that advance Dynamo’s efforts of building a global community of industry leaders and accelerating the growth of the clean energy economy.
Prior to Dynamo, Annie worked in the political sector on various advocacy and electoral campaigns, where she focused on digital engagement, communication strategy, and online marketing content. At her most previous political campaign, Annie project managed fundraising, acquisition, and persuasion creative digital ad assets as well as led strategy for ad user experience by creating funnels that ensured the highest conversion and retention rates. She also liaised between the digital and political and legislative departments to effectively implement advocacy strategy.
Annie is a recent graduate of University of Cambridge, where she received her Master’s degree in Political and Economic Sociology. Her dissertation focused on engagement impacts of climate change discourse and environmental issue framing. Annie is a 2016 Udall Scholar and received her Bachelor’s degree from Mount Holyoke College where she double majored in Politics and Sociology, graduating Magna Cum Laude.
Events and Business Development Associate
Vicky is currently a sophomore at Tufts University studying civil engineering. Her interests include clean energy and climate-focused innovation, and she is looking to work in an intersection of civil engineering and energy. Previously, Vicky has worked as an undergraduate research assistant at the Tufts Geohazards Lab, where she focused on earthquake liquefaction inventory. At Dynamo, Vicky supports research and business development, social media, and assissts in event organization.
Jane Sadler is a second-year Master’s of Public Policy Student at UC Berkeley’s Goldman School focusing on renewable energy and sustainability policy.
During her first year at Goldman, Jane consulted to both the City of Alameda on decarbonization efforts for existing residential buildings and to Levi Strauss and Co. on the reduction of shipping waste throughout the global supply chain. In addition to her consulting work, she served as a student researcher at both the Center for Law, Energy and the Environment at Berkeley Law where she tracked environmental rollbacks and reinstallments of climate policy under Presidents Trump and Biden, and at the California China Climate Institute where she analyzed nature-based climate solutions in decarbonization plans.
Last summer, she worked at Rocky Mountain Institute as an intern on the US Federal Policy team, analyzing factors of federal regulation that result in long-lasting policy. This school year, she is serving as the GSPP Liaison to the Berkeley Energy & Resources Collective and Co-President of the Energy Policy Group.
Prior to returning to graduate school, Jane served as Scheduler and Executive Assistant to First Partner Jennifer Siebel Newsom. She has also worked in campaign consulting at 50+1 Strategies in Oakland, California focusing on digital communication strategy. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from the University of California, Berkeley.
Jane joined Dynamo as a summer intern in June of 2021. She has supported membership services and operations this past summer, and now primarily works with the communications team to produce outward-facing media and written products.
